My name is Lola Makinde Murrey, I am Yoruba by tribe, I grew up in the Northern part of Nigeria. I speak Yoruba, Hausa and Nupe fluently. I am married to a Notherner from Adamawa State, and we are blessed with two beautiful children. I love business and I love to see people especially women succeed in business.

Long before I rounded up my university education I was already involved in the business of buying and selling just like my mom. I would go to Lagos, buy different items, bring to school and sell for little profit. Little by little I started going to Cotonou then to Ghana, Senegal and Dubai. After graduation from university with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and concluding my Youth Service, I worked for 2 years as a travel consultant with a travelling agency in Abuja. I resigned to face my business. I traveled far and wide. Business was good, I didn't even need to travel all the time to transact business, because as far back as ten years ago I had agents in different countries who sent me goods.

Then Government policies started becoming unfavourable. I lost a lot of money. Amidst all this, I got pregnant and got married. Hubby also had issues at work and lost his job. In fact we hit rock bottom. I became depressed and started to hide from friends. I could not tell people what I was going through, family members were unaware of my situation because I was a very private person.

I tried my hands on a lot of things, some paid off some didn't. I was duped and depressed. I was able to pull through with the help of family. I knew within me what I wanted to do so I got all the needed knowledge and training available, with every penny I had, I sort knowledge in importation businesses. Now I had the knowledge but no money to pursue my business dream I started to offer my services for free to people interested in importation before I knew it I had gotten so many clients.
